Payment
Deposit and Balance Payments
I will require a deposit of £150 for each full week booked and £100 for a short break booking. If you are booking within 8 weeks of the beginning of your stay I will need you to pay for the holiday at the time of your booking.
You can pay by any of the following means:
- Payment by mobile phone transfer (sometimes referred to as "pinging" the money). If you chose this method I will give you the phone number to send the payment to (it is not the enquiry line number).
- Cheque payments
- Bank Transfer.
- Cash payments made directly into our account.
I regret that I cannot take payments by credit or debit card.
Please note that if you are a guest from outside the UK you must pay any bank charges incurred by us relating to the change of currency and transfer. Usually this is around £7 per payment.
Once your deposit has been received I will change the availability calendar to show your booking.
The balance is due 8 weeks before your holiday begins. When I write to you with the receipt for your deposit payment I will include the date by which your balance payment must reach me.
I do not send out a reminder for the balance payment, so please note the date that your balance payment is due carefully. If your balance payment is not received on time and you have not been in touch with me I may consider that you have changed your mind about the booking. There is more information about this in the Terms and Conditions of your booking, which I will send to you. If you would like to see the Terms and Conditions before you decide to book, please email me and I will send them to you. You are welcome to pay in full when you book if that is easiest for you.
